The booker or participant can make a booking up to 24 hours before the tour starts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When booking a V for Food Tour, the booker or participant will provide the following information: number of participants, first name, last name, email address, phone number and any allergies of all participants they are booking for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After providing the information through Ticketinghub&#8217;s booking module, the booker or participant is redirected to the payment page. The booker or participant pays Vegan Food Tour Nederland V.O.F. in advance using one of the payment methods we offer on the website. The method of payment may vary depending on how the booking is made. Any additional costs involved with other payment methods will be borne by the participant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A booking is final after payment is made. The booker or participant will receive a confirmation email at the email address provided with booking information such as, the exact start time and location and the date the booker or participant booked the tour. In the attachment of the e-mail, the booker or participant will find the tickets, on which the specified information about the other participants can also be found. The booker or participant is responsible for checking the information in the confirmation email. If the information in the confirmation email is not correct, the booker or participant must report this as soon as possible but no later than 24 hours after booking at info@vforfood.com. In accordance with Article 6:230p sub e of the Dutch Civil Code, the statutory right of withdrawal (the 14-day cooling-off period) does not apply to our tours, as these are services related to leisure activities in which the performance is fixed at a specific date and time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A booking for the V for Food Tour may in no way be resold or used for commercial purposes, without prior written permission from Vegan Food Tour Nederland V.O.F. If this proves to be the case, we have the right to refuse participation of the participant(s) in question in the tour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We reserve the right to adjust the price of the tour at any time. The price paid by the participant on the day of booking remains unchanged, regardless of any price increases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If the participant has not paid the booking by the start of the tour, we have the right not to admit the participant to the booked V for Food Tour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The participant may cancel a booking up to 14 days before the start of the tour, in which case the booking fee of 5% of the sale price is non-refundable. If the participant cancels the tour between 14 days and 7 days before the start of the tour, we will charge 50% of the total sum, in addition to the non-refundable booking fee. There is no refund if the participant cancels later than 7 days before the start of the tour or does not show up at the tour (no-show).  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The minimum number of participants for the tour to go ahead is 6 adults (or 6 paying participants). If there are less than 6 participants 24 hours before the tour starts, we reserve the right to cancel the tour and issue a full refund. A group smaller than 10 people can also apply, but payment must always be made for at least 10 people. To make a group booking, the contact person of the group should contact Vegan Food Tour Nederland V.O.F. via the contact form on the pages for Private Groups or Team Outings at www.vforfood.com or at info@vforfood.com.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When making the booking, the contact person of the group should provide the exact date, the expected number of participant and any special requests or dietary requirements. One way to do this is by using a form we provide. The agreed price per person is based on the initial group size and the corresponding graduated discount. For requests made more than 14 days in advance, the number of participants from the initial request serves as the basis for booking guides and catering capacity. The final number of participants must be confirmed in writing no later than 7 days before the scheduled date. Until this time, the number of participants may be adjusted downward by up to 10% from the initial booking, provided the minimum number of 10 people is maintained. In case of a larger decrease, the payment obligation for the original number (minus that 10%) remains in force.    <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For bookings made within 14 days before the scheduled date, the number of participants at the time of request is immediately considered the final number. For these bookings, there is no further possibility to adjust the number of participants downward with the right to a refund or an invoice adjustment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In all cases, after the deadline of 7 days before the start, the payment obligation is 100% final based on the last confirmed number. Payment will be made by bank transfer based on the invoice provided. If payment is not received by the date specified, Vegan Food Tour Nederland V.O.F. reserves the right to cancel the tour. In that case, the 50% deposit remains due.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If no deposit has been made and payment is not made, the right to execute the tour expires and no rights can be derived from the reservation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If the client cancels more than 7 days in advance, only the 50% deposit will be retained; the remaining amount will be refunded within 14 days. In case of cancellation within 7 days before the tour starts, the full invoice amount (100%) is due. A booking can be moved a maximum of one time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For individual bookings, relocation up to 14 days before commencement is possible upon payment of the non-refundable booking fee of 5%. Relocation within 14 days prior to commencement is subject to a 15% administration fee on the total sum, in addition to the non-refundable booking fee. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For group bookings, conditions for relocation are on request and subject to availability. In all cases, requests for relocation must be made in a timely manner and in writing at info@vforfood.com. This guarantee gives the booker the right to move the ticket in question to another date (within 12 months, based on availability) once free of charge up to 24 hours before the start, regardless of the reason. The guarantee must be concluded per individual participant (per ticket). If a booking for a party is rescheduled, the free rescheduling applies only to the tickets for which the Good Weather Guarantee has been fulfilled. For the remaining tickets within the same company, the regular administration fee for relocation remains in full force. The fee for the guarantee itself (\u20ac5.00 per ticket) is non-refundable. We expect participants to wear appropriate clothing and footwear. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Only in the event of extreme weather conditions with code orange or red, whereby conducting the tour is deemed unsafe or irresponsible, Vegan Food Tour Nederland V.O.F. reserves the right to cancel the tour. We also reserve the right to modify the route or interrupt the tour if the safety of the participants is compromised by weather conditions, even when no official weather alarm is in effect. In case of cancellation by the organization, the full amount, including deposit, will be refunded.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Code yellow is not a reason for cancellation and does not entitle you to a refund. If a participant decides not to attend the tour due to rain or other weather conditions (while the tour is going ahead and no Good Weather Guarantee has been taken out), this is considered a cancellation by the participant and no refund will be made.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If there is force majeure on the part of the organizers of the V for Food Tour, we reserve the right to cancel the tour and refund the full deposit, or reschedule to another time. Force majeure occurs when participating restaurants do not or cannot keep their appointments, strikes, lockdowns and other situations beyond our control. Because we do not request contact information for all participants in the company or group, it is the responsibility of the booker and\/or contact person to share the information sent with all participants in the company or group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We reserve the right to modify the content and itinerary of our tours before or during the tour. The number of locations we visit and food offerings may change based on the opening hours of the participating restaurants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tours last between 3 and 4 hours. The duration may vary depending on group size, waiting time at the various locations and the walking or biking pace of the participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All food and at least one drink are included in the price. The food is ordered in advance and thus cannot be changed during the tour. Participants are responsible for stating any allergies and\/or dietary requirements of themselves and the person they are booking for. We try to accommodate allergies and\/or dietary needs as much as possible during the tour and will provide alternatives whenever possible. We cannot guarantee that all locations will offer a suitable alternative for allergies and\/or dietary needs. Some locations may charge an additional fee for the alternative dish in the event of an allergy and\/or dietary requirement. The additional cost is at the participant&#8217;s expense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are not liable for any allergic reactions to food or drink. The locations we visit during the tour are registered restaurants and serve high-quality food.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are not liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from participation in our tours. We are not liable for physical or property damage to the participant, due to, for example, falling, bumping, slipping and participating in traffic, before, during or after our tours. We are not liable for loss, theft and\/or damage to participant&#8217;s property before, during or after our tours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The guide reserves the right to refuse or turn away participants who behave irresponsibly or otherwise inappropriately (drunk, aggressive, rude, etc.). The refusal or dismissal of a participant due to irresponsible or improper behavior is not grounds for a refund of the payment made.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On our bike tours, participants may bring their own bikes or rent a bike through us from an outside rental company. In either case, participation is entirely at your own risk. Participants are responsible for the proper functioning and safety of their own bikes.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In case of a rented bicycle, the bicycle comes from an external party, with which Vegan Food Tour Nederland V.O.F. cooperates. We visually check these bikes at the start of the tour, but are not responsible for technical defects, damage or accidents caused by using these bikes. Participation is allowed only on the day specified in the confirmation email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The participant is responsible for showing up on time at the start locations, as stated in the confirmation email. We are under no obligation to postpone the start time or change the route if the participant cannot show up at the start location on time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If the participant is prevented, lost or unable to arrive at the start location on time for any other reason, he\/she should contact us at the phone number in the confirmation email or at info@vforfood.com.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In case the participant arrives late and does not contact the guide or the tour organization about it, the situation is considered a no show and the reservation will be canceled. If the participant uses other transportation during the tour (bus, cab, (rental) bike), any costs are the participant&#8217;s own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Children are welcome on our tours, but participation of minors (under the age of 18) is allowed only when accompanied by an adult. This supervisor is fully responsible for the child&#8217;s behavior, safety and well-being during the tour. Please note that not all stops are designed for young children and some dishes may contain pronounced flavors. If children are participating in the tour, we request that the booker indicate this explicitly during the booking process. This allows us to take into account &#8211; where possible &#8211; portion sizes and the composition of the dishes at the different locations.    <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>V for Food&#8217;s walking and biking tours take place in public areas. The participant should be aware of local rules and regulations applicable to pedestrians and bicyclists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During V for Food tours, the participant is not permitted to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Consuming alcohol (unless it is part of the tour or during a visit to one of the sites);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Using or carrying drugs;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Engage in aggressive behavior, harassment, threats or other inappropriate behavior toward the guide, other participants, business owners or other persons;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>holding or using a cell phone or other electronic device while cycling.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Any fines or other penalties imposed by competent authorities, resulting from the participant&#8217;s own behavior or failure to comply with (traffic) rules, will be entirely at the participant&#8217;s own expense and risk. After the expiration date, the gift certificate cannot be redeemed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gift cards or vouchers issued through previous platforms (such as WooCommerce or Shopware) whose validity is not unambiguously defined have now expired (as of December 2025) and can no longer be redeemed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The gift certificate has a monetary value and can be redeemed for any of V for Food&#8217;s available tours. If the balance of the gift certificate is insufficient to pay for the entire booking, the remaining amount must be paid additionally by the participant. The person who uses the voucher&#8217;s unique code when making a booking is considered the rightful owner\/user of the voucher. Vegan Food Tour Nederland V.O.F. does not perform any additional verification.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Price changes of tours or activities after the gift certificate has been issued do not affect the original monetary value of the gift certificate. The holder of the voucher must pay any price differences themselves. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gift certificates are issued digitally only. The participant is responsible for keeping the gift certificate and the unique code carefully. Vegan Food Tour Nederland V.O.F. is not liable for loss, theft, damage, abuse or unauthorized use of gift certificates. In case of loss, no replacement voucher or compensation will be provided.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In case of termination of business activities or bankruptcy of Vegan Food Tour Nederland V.O.F. all gift certificates and vouchers issued will automatically lose their validity. The holder of a gift voucher in these situations has no right to a refund or reimbursement of the remaining value of the voucher. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If Vegan Food Tour Nederland V.O.F. is unable to conduct tours temporarily or for a prolonged period of time due to force majeure (such as, but not limited to pandemics, natural disasters, government measures, war, terrorism or other circumstances beyond our control), the gift certificate cannot be redeemed during that period. In such cases, the validity period of the voucher will be extended by the duration of the force majeure situation.
