Become a foodie guide in The Hague
Are you a purebred Hagenees (or Hagenaar!), vegan at heart and love to tell stories? V for Food is expanding to the Hofstad and we are looking for enthusiastic guides to lead our brand new food tours!
About v for food
V for Food is a young, mission-driven company with a crystal-clear goal: to give the world a taste of how delicious plant-based food is. We do this with unique food tours in Amsterdam and Rotterdam and in “our” own Domstad. Together with our guides, we have already collected hundreds of five-star reviews. Now it is time to show The Hague what we have to offer!
What will you do?
As a guide, you will be the link between participants and the city’s most inspiring foodie hotspots.
- The storyteller: You visit local entrepreneurs and share their passions, ambitions and challenges while the group enjoys vegetable tastings.
- The city expert: During the walks between hotspots, you will treat the group to special anecdotes and stories about The Hague.
- The Inspirer: You share the impact of our food system on humans, animals and the planet. You always do so with a positive vibe and without a raised finger, so participants go home inspired (and with a full stomach).
Who are you?
To make our tours a success, recognize yourself in the following profile:
- Vegan (must): You live the mission and can speak from your own experience about the plant-based lifestyle.
- Freelancer (preferred): You hold a Chamber of Commerce number and can bill for your services – this is our standard operating procedure
- Student (optional): Are you a student and do not yet have a KVK? No problem: in consultation we will look for a suitable form of contract.
- A smooth talker: You are an enthusiastic storyteller and love being in front of a group.
- Language prodigy: You are fluent in English, Dutch is a plus.
- Living in The Hague: You know the city and its hidden gems.
- Flexible: You are available on Saturdays and open to tours on other (weekend) days in the future.
