Good Weather Guarantee

The Netherlands remains the Netherlands; the weather does not always allow itself to be predicted. At V for Food, we think your tour should be a party, no matter what the weather gods do. That’s why the Good Weather Guarantee exists.

What does the guarantee entail?

Normally, rescheduling a tour within 14 days incurs an administrative fee. With the Good Weather Guarantee, these fees are completely eliminated. You buy the ultimate in flexibility for a small fee.

  • The cost: Only €5 per person.
  • Flexibility: Move your tour to another time up to 24 hours in advance at no charge.
  • No discussion: You do not have to prove to us that it is raining or stormy. The warranty is valid regardless of the reason or weather forecast.

The Good Weather Guarantee is linked to the individual ticket. This means you must add the guarantee for each member of your party when booking to make the entire booking flexible.

Example: Did you book for 4 people, but only took out the Good Weather Guarantee for 1 person? Then you can move one person free of charge. For the remaining 3 people within the booking, the regular administration fee as described in our terms and conditions will then apply. Please make sure that the number of guarantees in your shopping basket equals the number of participants.

What does the guarantee entail?

  • Closing: Add the Good Weather Guarantee while booking your tour through vforfood.com. It is not possible to add it afterwards.
  • Still moving? Does the forecast not look good or you simply don’t feel comfortable? Let us know no later than 24 hours before the start time at [email protected].
  • New date: We will schedule a new date for you by mutual agreement (within 12 months of the original date, based on availability).

The fine print

The Good Weather Guarantee is an additional service to our terms and conditions. The cost of the guarantee itself is non-refundable. The guarantee is intended for a one-time rescheduling of the tour; in case of cancellation, the regular cancellation terms remain in effect.
