When you use our Service, we automatically collect certain information:

  • Device Information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
  • Usage Data: Information about how you use the app, including tour progress, locations visited, and feature interactions.
  • Location Data: With your consent, we collect precise location data to provide navigation and tour features. You can disable location services at any time through your device settings.
  • Log Data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, time and date of visits, and other diagnostic data.

1.3 Information from Third Parties

We may receive information from third-party services:

  • Firebase: Authentication data, crash reports, and analytics.
  • Payment Providers: Transaction confirmation from Mollie (we do not store full payment card details).

  • Provide the Service: To operate and maintain the V for Food app and website, process voucher purchases, and deliver tour experiences.
  • Personalization: To customize your experience and provide relevant content.
  • Communication: To send you transactional emails (voucher codes, receipts), service updates, and promotional communications (with your consent).

  • Cloudflare R2: Secure file storage

3.4 Partner Restaurants

When you redeem vouchers at partner restaurants, we share only the minimum necessary information (voucher validity) to process your discount.

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Service and fulfill the purposes described in this policy. Specifically:

  • Account Data: Retained while your account is active and for 3 years after deletion request for legal compliance.
  • Transaction Data: Retained for 7 years for tax and accounting purposes.
  • Usage Data: Retained for 2 years for analytics purposes.

We use Firebase Analytics to understand app usage. This service collects anonymized usage data. You can opt out of analytics collection in the app settings.

  • Posting the new Privacy Policy in the app and on our website
  • Sending you an email notification (if you have an account)
  • Displaying a prominent notice in the app
