These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the V for Food website and mobile application (collectively, the "Service") operated by V for Food ("we", "us", or "our").

By purchasing a voucher or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Services and Products

2.1 What We Offer

V for Food provides self-guided vegan food tour vouchers that grant access to curated routes featuring plant-based restaurants, cafés, and food spots. Each voucher includes:

  • Access to a digital city tour route via our mobile app
  • Exclusive discounts at participating locations (typically 10-30% off)
  • Tour information, directions, and restaurant details

2.2 Product Pricing

All prices displayed on our website are in Euros (EUR) and include VAT (21% Dutch BTW) where applicable. The price shown at checkout is the final price you pay.

Current voucher pricing:

  • Utrecht Food Tour Voucher: €10.00 per person

Prices are subject to change without prior notice, but any price changes will not affect orders already placed.

3. Ordering and Payment

3.1 Placing an Order

When you place an order, you will receive:

  1. An order confirmation email with your voucher code(s)
  2. Instructions on how to redeem your voucher in the V for Food app

3.2 Payment Methods

We accept payments through Mollie, which supports:

  • iDEAL
  • Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
  • PayPal
  • Bancontact
  • Other local payment methods

All payments are processed securely through Mollie. We do not store your payment card details.

3.3 Payment Currency

All transactions are processed in Euros (EUR).

4. Voucher Terms

4.1 Validity

  • Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase
  • Each voucher code can be used once (unless otherwise specified)
  • Vouchers are non-transferable once redeemed in the app

4.2 Redemption

To use your voucher:

  1. Download the V for Food app (iOS or Android)
  2. Create an account or log in
  3. Enter your voucher code to unlock the tour
  4. Start your food adventure at any time

4.3 Discounts at Partner Locations

  • Discounts are provided by our partner restaurants and may vary
  • Discounts apply to food and drinks as specified per location
  • Partners may have their own terms (minimum spend, excluded items, etc.)
  • We are not responsible for partner restaurants' operating hours, menu changes, or closures

5. Refund and Cancellation Policy

5.1 Digital Products - Right of Withdrawal

As vouchers are digital products, the standard 14-day EU right of withdrawal applies with the following conditions:

Before redemption: You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase if you have not yet redeemed (activated) your voucher code in the app.

After redemption: Once you redeem your voucher code in the app, you expressly consent to the immediate delivery of the digital content, and you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal.

5.2 How to Request a Refund

To request a refund for an unredeemed voucher, contact us at:

Refunds are processed within 14 business days to the original payment method.

5.3 Exceptions

We may offer refunds or voucher extensions at our discretion in exceptional circumstances, such as:

  • Technical issues preventing voucher redemption
  • Significant reduction in partner locations in your chosen city

6. Delivery

Voucher codes are delivered instantly via email after successful payment. If you do not receive your voucher within 15 minutes:

  1. Check your spam/junk folder
  2. Verify the email address used for purchase

As this is a digital product, there is no physical shipping.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on our website and app, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of V for Food and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

8. User Responsibilities

By using our Service, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when making purchases
  • Use vouchers only for their intended purpose
  • Not attempt to copy, share, or resell voucher codes
  • Treat partner restaurant staff with respect
  • Not hold V for Food liable for issues at partner locations

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1 Service Availability

We strive to maintain our Service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for:

  • Temporary unavailability of the app or website
  • Partner restaurants being closed or unavailable
  • Changes to partner offerings or discounts

9.2 Maximum Liability

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of our Service is limited to the amount you paid for your voucher(s).

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for information on how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes will be resolved through the competent courts in Utrecht, the Netherlands.
